Viewing the Lily

Alabama: The best place for viewing the lilies in Alabama is Hargrove Shoals just south of Alabama County Road24. For great directions to this viewing location see the instructions at http://www.cahabariver.net/lily.htm.

South Carolina: The best place for viewing the lilies in South Carolina is at Landsford Canal State Park, 12 miles south of Rock Hill S.C. off hwy 21. This is thought to be the largest population known. There are approximately 20 to 25 acres in the Catawba river at this location. (Thanks to Don Oneppo for this information.)
